Every fish has a story. One of them has been waiting forty years.
Old Wren next door taught you to fish on the home dock. Out in the pond lives the Pondmother, a fish so big and so old that only one line can hold her: a line tied from three threads, by three old friends who have not spoken in forty years.
Gather the threads. Bring the friends back together. Then wait on the dock at dawn, after the rain.
